
With Bonfire Night almost here, there are plenty of amazing firework displays to visit. There’s something quite magical about watching the sky light up with beautiful colours and patterns – a technicolour backdrop to a moment of commemoration. We have scrolled through our homes to see where is close to some of the best firework displays in our area, perfect for friends and family.
Rutland Lions Fireworks Display, The Rutland Showground – An annual event, there are two firework displays – the first quieter one for children, the second a little louder. There’s also free rides for children, a bar and food.
Empingham (Approx 12 mins away by car)

This is an attractive, quite substantial home which is located in a quiet spot at the back of a close of just 5 dwellings. Corby Fireworks, the area around the boating lake – Organised by North Northamptonshire Council, this is a free event with the bonfire lit following a popular torchlight procession from Corby International Pool, followed by an impressive firework display. There’s also food stalls to enjoy too.
Geddington (Approx 13 mins away by car)

Just three miles from Kettering, this is a very handsome, Grade ll listed property in mellow yellow stone, originally part of the Priory next door. Dating back to 1618, the property has exceptionally high ceilings and large windows shedding a vast amount of light into all the rooms, which is very unusual for a building of such an age.
