It was an early Christmas present for the team last Friday evening when we attended The United Kingdom Property Awards 2021 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, which was sponsored by P&A Wood – Rolls Royce Motor Cars.

Being the second year we have entered, we were very honoured to have scooped up nine awards in total – almost double that of last year – to include Best Estate Agency Marketing United Kingdom and Best Estate Agency Single Office United Kingdom. This brings our total number to over fourteen.

Widely known as one of the industry’s largest and most prestigious award ceremonies where only the highest quality of products and companies are allowed to enter, the winners were announced at a glitzy ceremony before everybody enjoyed a delicious three course meal followed by a lot of dancing.  

Prizes comprised of two levels – ‘Award Winners’ which requires a minimum score from the judges of 60%, and ‘Five Star’ which requires a minimum score of 75%. Only ONE company is awarded the ‘Five Star’ award for each category, so we are thrilled to announce that it was given to Fine & Country Rutland, Stamford & South Lincs for:

This means that we have been automatically entered into the shortlists for the same categories in the international regional heats, where we will be competing against other industry professionals across Africa, Arabia, Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe and the UK. The top winners in each region  will then automatically be entered into the overall International Awards, culminating in another glittering awards ceremony. This event also crowns the overall ‘World’s Best Architecture, Property and Interior Design Awards’ – so we will keep you posted on how we do next year.

The whole team are truly honoured to have won these national awards. They are in their 28^th year and the winners represent the highest levels of achievement in real estate, development, architecture, interior design and marketing in both the residential and commercial sectors. This year, they were judged by an independent panel of over 80 industry experts, focusing on design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability, with the expert judging panel being chaired by Lord Caithness, Lord Best and Lord Waverley who are members of the House of Lords. Our achievement highlights not only how much we value customer service for our clients, but also our commitment to adopting a lifestyle marketing approach for the promotion of our homes.

Fine & Country Rutland, Stamford & South Lincs were honoured to have sponsored our first polo match at Rutland Polo Club last weekend, where we had great fun with everybody who attended whilst supporting a local business in a major way.

At the very special polo weekend, we sponsored one of the matches – The Fine & Country Cordoba 8 goal WIP Ladies Cup – where one of the teams also carried our branding on their shirts which was an amazing sight to see as the players battled it out on the field.

14 teams took part in various games overall where players travelled from as far as a field as Cheshire, Yorkshire and Essex. Our match was an exciting one to watch, where the fiercely contested final saw old rivals Parc Ferme take on Knightmares who thanks to a 1/2 goal handicap went on to claim their victory. Keep an eye out for Jan below who proudly gave the winning team their well deserved trophy.

We also had a team playing in the Subsidiary final, which was played as a round robin between Las Chicas Locas, Pink Ibis/Hue & Cry and brand new team Fine & Country Rutland. Las Chicas Local ran out the winners, placing them 3rd overall, followed by the underdogs Fine & Country in fourth and Pink Ibis/Hue & Cry in fifth.  

A fun day was had by all, and we look forward to sponsoring a match again in the future.

Spring is traditionally the busiest time of year for the housing market and 2021 is looking to be no exception. As lockdown restrictions start to ease, record demand and a prolonged shortage of supply is sustaining prices, whilst consumer and industry confidence continue to grow.
