In The Press… The Times

One of homes was featured in The Times today, in a round up of the best properties for sale around £750,000, offering the vendor widespread exposure of their home. The newspaper described it as:

“A formal knot garden filled with ornate and characterful evergreen topiary, seasonal plantings and a delightful summerhouse surrounds this semi-detached period cottage. The grade II listed English classic has three bedrooms, two of which have en suites, while the family bathroom is downstairs on the ground floor. The exposed brickwork, period fireplaces, slanted ceilings and plentiful bookcases add to its charm. The conservatory at the rear of the house is the perfect place to soak up the last of the evening’s rays, and when the night draws in, the cosiness of the sitting area comes calling. There is a double garage and log store to the side of the house, and Peterborough’s town centre is a 25-minute drive away.”

In The Press… Country & Town House

This gorgeous Grade II Listed Georgian home offers elegant country living in a leafy corner of Peterborough. We are delighted to see it in the press again – this time for Country & Town House’s round up of best homes new to market. Its location is highly desirable: it’s quiet yet only a 10 minute drive from Peterborough station, with its excellent transport links. Meanwhile, inside, the rooms are typically Georgian – they’re well-proportioned with high ceilings and sash windows – but they’ve all been beautifully modernised to leave them feeling fresh and stylish. In The Press… Times Bricks & Mortar

We are delighted to see another one of our homes in the press again! This time Times Bricks & Mortar, which has featured College Farm in it’s round up of homes for sale around £600,000. Read the full piece here.

The Times describe it as: “On the fringes of the village of Moulton, this 19th-century four-bedroom farmhouse is brimming with period charm: high, beamed ceilings; original York stone floor and an inglenook fireplace housing a Jotul log-burner. More than 2,100 sq ft of living space includes four reception rooms, a kitchen, utility room and ground-floor shower room plus a separate pantry. The vendor describes the lower ground floor level as “strictly, a demi-cellarette as it is only half-sunk into the ground with windows to the outside”. Thinking about schooling? Spalding, about five miles away, has two selective secondaries ranked in The Sunday Times Parent Power Schools Guide. You also get 0.6 acres, barns and outbuildings.”
